One of our own, Alex Rainer, was murdered Thursday afternoon April 9th in Denver's Five Points neighborhood. Alex was a devoted Liverpool supporter through and through, he had been to Anfield multiple times over the years and was a familiar face at the Abbey Tavern for countless matches.
He was walking his dog at 1pm when he was randomly targeted and shot. He had done nothing wrong.
Alex leaves behind his wife and two children, a three-year-old and a six-month-old. His wife is now navigating the unimaginable. The road ahead for his family is going to be incredibly hard.

OLSC Denver is the official Liverpool FC supporters club in Denver, Colorado, USA. Formed in January 2011 as the Colorado Reds, OLSC Denver became an Official Liverpool Supporters Club in 2013. Our goal is to provide local and visiting Liverpool FC fans an enjoyable and welcoming environment to come support our favorite football club. We charge no membership fees and hope you can join us on game day at the Abbey Tavern
OLSC Denver's home pub since 2014, the Abbey Tavern is owned and run by Liverpool supporters and is open for every televised Liverpool match.
